But I came here to post these recommendations:
(check them out, promise you won't be disappointed)
Prisoners of Fate + To Far Away Times (first 4 minutes in this Chrono Trigger medley---which actually a lot of this could be used for skating)
^the last part when "To Far Away Times" mixes with "Prisoners of Fate" can be re-edited to loop 1 more time, making the song ~ 4:00.
I've done it myself because I prefer to hear that part play one section longer.
BoA- Every Heart (orchestra version)
^I've always liked that song
Ha, what do you know. Apparently Kevin Reynolds used a lot of that Chrono Trigger Medley I posted in 2012. Learn something new every day I guess.
I'm a huge fan of soundtracks!
Especially the Lost soundtrack, and this is one of my favourite pieces:
The Amelie soundtrack is beautiful too
Yes! I would love to see a skater (male or female) use The Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme), or Anakin's Theme, or any of the music from the movies. In fact, anything John Williams has scored would be a welcomed relief from the flirty prostitutes, dying swans, and heartbroken village girls that I've seen skated to over the years.

Bach's cello song done by Yo-Yo Ma. It's a busy piece of music, but I think it would make a great short program for a very strong skater. Sorry for the strange vid, but this is my favorite version:
Dvorak - Romance for piano and violin, Op.11.
At the rink. Again.
Anything by Wolf Hoffman or Deviations Project.
Is this the one Joshua Farris used for his SP last season? (Sorry, Youtube's not opening on my computer right now, so I can't check.)

Tchaikovsky's Ballet work for Onegin.
Gorgeous and the music at the end of the ballet has some serious footwork potential for a skate who knows what they're doing like Michelle or Mao. The whole piece of music is great - but I've set it up nearer the end where the meatier music kicks in:
And then around 6:30 is when Michelle would have hit her last lutz and just flown... but I digress...
Meryl and Charlie would also be divine to this music.
Jeffrey Buttle once used the intro to Wagner's Tristan und Isolde in the Glen Gould program even though he dropped it later. It's one of my favorite pieces of music. Would love to see someone like Patrick take it and run.
Svanur by Rokkurro
Passacaglia for Violin by Biber
Takes my breath away. A piece I hope to use someday soon in my own work.
Music that should be skated to
"Sympathy for Lady Vengeance" (Adapted from Vivaldi's Cantata "Cessate, Omai Cessate", RV 684 "Ah Ch'Infelische Sempre")

Lovers (Title Song) from House of Flying Daggers
Performed by Kathleen Battle
Also shorter version with erhu:
Karen Chen skated to 'House of Flying Daggers' last year (including the Lovers' theme): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwr37fmR-vs
There was also a Japanese skater who skated to it some time ago, can't remember who though.
