Titanic- An extremely simplistic plot, horrible dialogue. This is all compounded by the fact it won best picture in the same year that LA Confindential was made.

Return of the King- I know 99% of the rest of the human population disagrees with me but while I agree it's a GOOD MOVIE, I don't think the story is very sophisticated. I never felt the urgency of their mission. Who is this bad guy anyway? I had no idea what he was or meant. All we know is he wants the ring, like everyone else, blah, blah, blah. Very simplistic ideas about good and evil-good is good, evil is evil. Big freakin' deal. (Oh yeah, it was about three and a half hours two long
