I miss Irina's 2002 SP one foot step sequence.
I miss 1994 when Yuka Sato went flying down the length of the ice at the end of her Don Quixote program, with incredibly fast, tricky, and magnificent footwork that DID NOT take 30+ seconds
Just to add a dissenting opinion, I'm happy to watch great footwork sequences for hours on end.
Ah, but what is your definition of "great"? One that meanders at a leisurely pace in comparison to the rest of the program throwing the kitchen sink in from a standpoint of steps and turns and the skater looks like they are having a seizure or are swatting flies from the arm flailing and body motion?
FWIW, one of my favorite IJS step sequences was Braden Overret's (sp?) PotC drunken pirate footwork at the very beginning of his LP
