While the old version of the site had a retro, almost 1990's feel, it actually worked quite well.

However, if you go to http://www.isu.org/en/home, you'll see the site has had a rather startling redesign.

The figure skating (formerly Singles Pairs & Dance page) replacement is here
http://www.isu.org/en/single-and-pair-skating-and-ice-dance

On this page you can find, if you hunt around, you can find links to most thing.

The events look particularly odd (at the bottom of the page). The little blue boxes on the bar represent the events. Click on the box, and there you are...well sort of.

Ice dance tech rules are here ;)

Single and pairs tech rules are here
http://www.isu.org/en/single-and-pa...ce/isu-judging-system/single-and-pair-skating

Skater bios are here (at the right hand side of the page are links to current season stats, worlds' bests and so forth
http://www.isu.org/en/single-and-pair-skating-and-ice-dance/skater-biographies

Here's where you go for results (past and present) and I don't particularly like it

The month view is a bit more user friendly, but I'd just prefer a nice list.

There is a section for videos at the bottom of the Singles/Pairs/Dance page and a Photo Galleries page - this may turn out to be a great plus.

Thanks for putting that list together, Doris. :)

I miss the events list as well. Having said that, I hated having to input dates each time in order to get the list displayed. At least now, I can browse through the blue boxes straight away. Although then you have to mouseover it and wait for the tooltip to display, which is quite annoying also. Yes, a simple clear list would be the best solution.

(ETA: Actually our prayers were answered. If you scroll down, there's an event list box and if you click on it, you get all events displayed in list format. :))

The problem is, if you click on the individual events, the links for their websites and entries/results pages have not been entered. :(

At least the website finally looks aesthetically pleasing! About time!

I am pleasantly surprised. It's worked quicker for me to find what I want so far.

I don't have IE, but it's a bit sketchy that it doesn't work on any of my browsers! I tried Firefox, Chrome AND Safari.

What the heck, it looks like the site's style sheets aren't loading or they're incompatible with all my browsers. I just get the unstyled outline of the menus and links.

tried it on a different computer - still the same problem... perhaps something happened and it crapped out? Maybe they hired the same bozos in charge of the Obamacare website?

maybe it has to do with internet provider? I've tried IE and firefox... the figure skating link just pops me back to the home page... so odd.

Are you maybe on IE 10? or Windows 8?
Or maybe their page has a virus and your antivirus program will not display it?
Very, very odd.

No to Windows 8, and I don't believe mom's computer is on IE 10.

My laptop and mom's computer have different virus protection - mine would outright say why the page would not load properly if it was a virus.

Curiouser & curiouser.

For what it's worth, at this point in time, I uninstalled Java, so it's not that
