I liked Victor's program with the attached doll. Better then the one with the attached dog:laugh:

I don't remember his SP too well. What was wrong with it again? I remember it being average, nothing really great or terrible stood out for me (unless that was the problem).
I think it is because the choreo is totally disconnected from the music. He doesn't bother to do transitions or choreo. On a skater who could perhaps understand the music better, it would be an okay program, but Tim brings nothing to the music. The music, if anything, makes him look stiffer than her really is I think. He just seems detached every time he performs this SP, and that doesn't help. My assertion is that it's a combination of the program itself, and his performance.

I loved Petrenko's program with the doll. Laughed hysterically every time I saw it. I hated the one with the dog, though.

Nancy Kerrigan did a routine to "Riverdance" as a pro that had no good footwork or choreography.

Anything Stannick Jeannette has ever done

Yags' exhibition at the 98 Olys that consisted of him frog jumping and backstroking on the ice

Lipinski's "Genie in a Bottle" from SOI

I thought of another oneI don't like. Takeshi Honda's Riverdance. The first half was a waste of music. He didn't interpret it at all.

G-O-L-D from 2001-02 Stars on Ice. Kristi, Katarina, and Tara rapped about being Olympic gold medalists.

Anything with a chair particularly one program Brian Boitano did in 1994. He wore a turquoise shirt and a funky vest.

Except for "The Chairmen" from SOI two years ago. That was great.

But in the "bad chair" department, I would have to say Brian Boitano as Sam Spade in the two-parter in Ice Wars this year.

I like Lipinski's "Genie in a bottle" routine. For the record, I also liked Kerrigan'r Riverdance--it was entertaining and not at all boring; and I liked Petrenko's doll routine.

It definitely has to be B&B - (Ice dance) - 88 Calgary Olympics - free dance program - ugly choreography, costumes. Was not pretty!! Of course, they won because of their technical abilities, but I preferred Tracy Wilson and Rob McCalls' program (they won the bronze). It was a wonderful program. They just danced gracefully and smoothly from one end of the rink to the other non-stop.

Their 1988 free dance "Elite Syncopations" was set to a Scott Joplin medley and was well received by judges and fans alike for its both its difficulty and fun.

Oh Anke, you are hurting Michelle's feelings (and she says such nice things about you!) Now Michelle will cry all the way to the bank, where she deposited the 1.6 million dollars that she got for performing FOG on tour that year.

Kurt's clown one of the worst programs ever??? NO WAY! I think it is one of the most brilliant programs I've ever seen. When Yags did a clown routine a year or so later, it just looked pathetic by comparison. Kurt's was original, intricate, clever--just amazing!

Just one Gal's opinion!
:D

Well, I do not like clown programs at all and I think Kurt has so much more to offer than this kind of comedy. As an exhibition program I can just accept it, but not when it is awarded with several 10.0 at World Pros. Kurt is a genious on the ice, but there is far too much posing, "funny" steps and moves and not enough real skating in this routine. I know that most people love it, but for me it is his worst ever. And I could watch most of his programs over and over again....

Oh, yeah. Forgot about that one, too. Highly pretentious and he wasn't even DOING ANYTHING except skating around scribbling on a pad. Not exactly a showcase for gold-medal winning talent. Actually, except for Bobek, Kulik, and the pairs (S & P and B & S), that whole show IMO was a waste of time.

I liked Oksana's Ice Wars program--only caught the second one, as I didn't know it was airing; I really thought S&P's 2002 SLC exhibition was pointless and corny.
