Lafuente's season's best would put her 10th so far and out of the FS. She's had an absolute disaster of a season so far.
Reportedly, she's been training well in Canada. So maybe she will finally deliver or maybe the issues were psychological. We will see soon.
Rajicova doesn't have the Olympic spot yet. She has to satisfy some criteria first.

Oh, that's harsh!
Admittedly, Carolina can be somewhat - erm, how shall I put it? - inconsistent.
But Valentina is having the time of her life this season!!!
I wish I had put Vale on the podium in my predictions...
But, I suppose if you are referrring to Yun-A and Mao as the first tier, then Caro and Vale would be the second tier...

She would have made the FS, had Olsson not been so lucky with her marks.
And yes, this is the first season Kryger is age-eligible to skate in seniors.

OH no!, I meant the italian 2nd tier skaters (Rio, Bresanutti, etc). I like them all, but they are wildly inconsistent. Vale and Carolina are stars

Aha! We have a difference in interpretation!
I though he was referring to all Italian ladies as being 2nd tier.
You thought he was just referring to the 2nd tier within the Italian ranks.
If your interpretation is right, it's not so bad. Because, after watching Italian Nationals, I can't help but agree that they are no-where near the level of Kostner and Marchei!
