Constable , Costume Police
R/H fell victim to the dang split competition ( I hate the set up ) They weren't cut out, they just didn't place high enough to make the tv coverage..e.g. CTV only showed the final group for the FD. What wasn't on TV was streamed ... but it's a paid service.
R/H - I thought the choreography was, at best, serviceable, but she really has lovely arms and a real lightness to her skating that is quite fetching.
On the whole though, I don't think any team really captured the essence of the Finnstep, which is all about effervescence and lightness and bubbly good times. I just didn't get that feeling from any of the programs here. It was like you could see the "work" in "working it." But hey, YMMV...
Still, I'm greatly looking forward to the FD because it includes two of my absolute favorite programs of the season (both of which I actually prefer to Marlie and Voir's FDs): H/D's Boho Rhapsody and G/P's Hitchcock.
Interesting 4CC photo with the top Dance teams (you don't often see Piper & Paul with Madison & Zachary).

Pairs Short Program Groups 2+3
Just noticed that Hirai/De La Ascuncion skated to a foxtrot version of "Creep" by Radiohead. That song does NOT fit a Finnstep at all.
What a nice skate for Alexandra and Daniel!
And... they're in podium position! Good for them, and for you!
True. I was at Canadian Nationals, and it was packed - particularly the final night where I think the organizers said it was sold out.

^ I think they would. Even though the arena wasn't filled to capacity there were still tons of people in the crowd. I don't know the numbers for Ice Dance, but apparently the 2014 Ladies Free was the single largest attended event at Nationals since the 2002 Ladies Free.
Hopefully the events tomorrow will be better-attended, but perhaps this is the way it will be for the whole week.
Has the event not been well-advertised in Taipei?
They have a gala scheduled in a few days, too. Hopefully that will get some attendees!
Is there no video of Dani and Greg?

I was there on the final night. It was in fact sold out.
