Ladies....SP Ashley, Mao, Yuna, Caro, Julia

Ladies LP, Ashley (both old and new), Caro (Bolero), Mao, and of course Julia LP

Ice dance. Tie between the programs of Marlie and Voir

Pairs V/T SP

Men handsdown SP and LP of Jason Brown. Also Sp and LP of Chan. Rippon has great programs, he just can't compete them. Jeremy has as usual superior programs that I actually enjoyed at Nationals. His skating was wonderful for once. He can skate masterpiece programs. May he hold the nerves together in Russia.

Akiko's LP at Japanese Nats and Jason's LP at US Nats.

I agree! Those two are star performers and they nailed their long programs and their nationals, no less. Doesn't get better than that! By far the highlights of singles skating so far.

I also though Mao at the GPF and Yuna at nationals were brilliant in their SPs. And Jeremy at nationals SP.

Coming from someone that have never watched men's skating in her life this is quite a surprise even to me, but Jason Brown's FS at the US Nats was absolutely amazing.
Mirai's exhibition was beautiful and emotional and lovely.

Pairs:
Pang & Tong's long at the GPF.

Ladies:
Adelina's short at the GPF and/or Europeans.
Polina's short at Nationals
Mao's long whenever she stays on her feet.

Dance:
C&L's free dance in every performance except the GPF.
P&B's free every time they skate it clean
The Shibutanis' short.
Honorable mention: Feng & Ponomarkenko's free dance in novices at Nationals.

Men:
Jason's long at Nationals.
Oda at the GPF. Sigh.
Paolo B's short & long performances in novice's at Nationals (in a class by himself).
(Holding out for a great performance by Takahashi, but haven't seen one yet this season).

For me it is:
Jason Brown FS at Nationals
Julia's FS at SC (still, her best performance ever for me)
Suzuki's FS at Nationals
D/W FD at Nationals
Most of the Pairs SP competition at GPF

I'm just curious if you saw Julia's FS at Euro's. If you did why do you like SC FS better? I also thought the FS at SC was the best until I watched EC.

Favorite performances (of the ones I have watched this season):
Jeremy Abbott's SP at US Nationals
Julia's FS at European Championships :points::party2::rock::yay:

I have seen almost all Yulia's skating (SC, CoR, GPF, Russian C, and EC) and also find LP at SC the best one. May be this is because of the fresh first impression.
But also because it was the only one where she did not experience much competition pressure. After that, once she suddenly became a candidate to Sochi team,
the preshure was huge, constant and growing. EC skating was also very good but as you remember she was fighting for placing her jumps somewhere. Sport prevailed
over art there.

Nedless to say that I find her LP being the best of the year in all categories.

I was impressed by: Volosozhar/Trankov (Skate America long program), Yuzuru Hanyu (GPF, both SP and FS), Davis/White (US Nationals).
