A well deserved victory for T/M. It was a very strong and confident performance, the only error being her fall on the 3T so there was no combo. A nice way to come back after the nasty fall in the Seniors, the ladies in pairs dont't want for bravery. This routine really suits there style, if they skate like this at worlds they could be pushing the chinese for gold. They have a got shot of making it in the seniors ranks

A nice skate from V/Z in second they have really come into their own this year. Prior to this event I would have had them winning this but they had one or two errors in the free so it held them back. I still think they are held back a bit on the PCS. I really would have to have seen them going for a triple jump, if they are to move in to seniors they will need the jumps. I think he has aged out of juniors and she is to young for seniors, so I am not sure what they are going to do next year.

I know D/D have one or two people here who are not fans but I have a lot of time for this couple. They seemed to have worked through her growth spurt and are all the better for it. I would have scored them a bit higher, I thought they would have struggled to make the team but they really delivered here.

A disappointing skate from G/B, they have the potential to battling for the podium but they do seem to be error prone. I alway like their choices of music, there is something a bit different about it. It was a bit of a disaster for F/M, her jumps are a real problem, unless the triples come along I'm not sure what future they have. Lina has real character on the ice but with all the errors things fell a bit flat. I really liked the skate from B/L and also G/S.

On the whole plenty of junior pairs talent in Russia, just like in their seniors ranks.

While he will age out of juniors at the end of this season, she will turn 15 on June 29th, which will just barely make them eligible for seniors next season. If they medal at Jr.Worlds, GP assignment(s) are definitely in the cards.
