For all the Mirai fans, she did not look too upset or shaken by her scores. I think she pulled off a respectable performance given the stress and strain of the last few weeks and her illness. She is so cute and dear. I love her.

Courtney into 1st. 58 for TES, 56 for PCS.

Woah.....I don't need to see the performances to know that Courtney Hicks's SS are not as strong as Chartrand's, not by a long shot. I'd say Chartrand, Lacoste and the three Japanese have the best SS in the competition. The idea Hicks can beat her on SS is :confused:

hHhHhHHahahahahaha

It went down like crazy. I've never seen anything like it.

I don`t know how to take this. Haha she her tes fall like usual or ha ha she ur and two footed as usual or simply hahaha its Mirai and she blew it again. But seriously she has had a rough time lately and I think she is sick. Oh but to be beaten by a third strong Canadian - that is pretty humiliating. and I mean that not as a slight to Canada but their ladies have not been traditionally that strong.

I don't think Mirai really cares at this point -- she likely just competed for points and will look towards next season. She's had a really unlucky/disappointing start to 2014!

I don't agree with you zamboni step, mirai's skating skills are better than Alaine's and the judges agree with me, also Sammy and Zijun have better SS than Alaine

They need to find other places to host the four continents. The coverage has been below par.

True. I'm hoping that after the extremely low attendance at this event that the next time it is the year for the event to be held in Asia, it will be held in a city where people actually come to figure skating events. The Japanese have an amazing love of figure skating and I've seen how many letters Japanese fans send to our skaters here in Canada. So the ISU should keep that in mind the next time they are looking to hold an event in that area of the world.

Go Haruka! Very underrated skater. (Although she does bomb an awful lot, so it's no wonder that she's not as well-known...)

I love Samantha and Zijun but their skating skills are pretty weak, Zijun is small and slim, her body not being fully developed yet, and can't physically generate that much speed yet. SS are probably Samantha's weakness in terms of PCS along with TR to a lesser extent.

I'm laughing because i don't think this is the end of Mirai.
I think she will stick around. She doesn't seem mad and angry anymore these time around.
Maybe with her new coach, she can shake things up.
