Why are they not sending Radionova again? She's still the best of the Russian girls not eligible to go to the Olympics.

Why are they bringing Stepanova/Bukin back from Seniors? They won JW last year.

Because they can't go to Senior Worlds and the season would be essentially over for them otherwise. This way they can earn some ISU ranking points and potentially improve their SB score. Sucks for the other teams but they are still age eligible.

Well, they looked fine in January at Junior Nationals. I doubt she has grown within 2 months. I personally love this pair, she needs more polish, but that can come with time. Their twizzles are great!

What is it with you and height differences? Why are you so offended/repulsed/horrified by pairs and dance teams that are close in height? As long as they can still comfortably do their elements, what's it to you?

similar height is a hotbed for future injuries, elements performed will be limited
and it just doesn't look right to have in similar height, not aesthetically pleasing to look at
their lift positions are limited and very poor

the ISU should draft a rule to ban couples competing with a height difference less than 12 cm

??? Tessa and Scott were of a similar height, I never saw you complain about that, and they're one of the best teams in history. Why do you care SO much about Stepanova/Bukin being of a similar height? I'll repeat, as long as they're not having problems, why should you care? Don't watch them if you think it's not aesthetically pleasing
