Still yet to see anything official but according to this tweet by Nick McCarvel Hanyu, Fernandez and Chan will all be skating in the second to last group in that order.

Plushenko will skate 7th, Abbott 11th, Brown 16th.

Based on what Orser was saying earlier I bet he's happy that Hanyu and Fernandez will be skating in the same group in the sp.

Just guessing based on what he's tweeted and not tweeted, I'm betting Daisuke is in the last group then. It also sounds like Plushenko absolutely will be doing the mens event then.

Hopefully we'll have the official starting order soon!

Thanks to my friend Mrs. P  for copying the stuff in my post into the OP. :) (Totally understand that it was not available when you started the thread.)

I am deleting the contents of what once was in this post -- to reduce redundancy.

I think this is a good draw for Daisuke, almost last but not completely. If Yuzuru skates a cracker, it'll be nerve wrecking for Javier and Patrick.

It will be a good show for sure. There is a lot of extremely talented skaters.

I'm hoping for a magic recovery for Takahashi

Group 4 will be fun to watch! Hanyu, Javi, and Chiddy (and the Frenchies).

I agree!
Hmm 3 top competitors one after the other
It'd be awesome they all got on the podium!

PLYUSHCHENKO ... As admirable as his efforts are, I hope they don't inflate his scores too much. There's a lot of talented skaters I'd rather see on the podium.
I was actually hoping he'd let Kovtun have a chance too.

If I'm not mistaken was Plushenko warned that the only way a substitution would be allowed is if he sustained a serious injury?

Group 4

Fingers crossed for Yuzuru! I'm also waiting for a great performance by Fernandez and maybe a good program by Denis Ten.

His whole body is one serious injury at this point. :p

Deadline for substitutions for the Men event has passed already though.
