In Tanya's photo for yesterday, http://instagram.com/p/m4gl1FD_nX/, the guy next to Max is Vladimir Grigorev, who also used to compete for Ukraine before switching to Russia. Funny how of all the Sochi athletes they could have invited, they just had to invite 2 Ukrainians and well, an American. But I agree that an invitation like that is not something you could really say no to. Not a good idea to upset Putin, especially if you're in Russia

So I watched the Stas and Tania video and it got me in a melancholy mood because they said in it that since they started training with Ingo, the quality of Stas skating was markedly better.

I really liked their program, more than Max and Maria's. At the 2010 Olympics they had better marks at the LP.

Since old programs with previous partners came up, I'd suggest looking at 2009 Euros rather than the Olympics - M/T had a beautiful SP that season, while V/M did the best version of Pearl Harbor that I can recall. I remember being very impressed with her lines and positions in the lifts.

Maybe because of that crazy person who made that crzy comments, changed accounts for a few times and finally took one of last Max's names for account and wrote same things from that account? (And she tired from this?) Or maybe because recently posting of pictures from open accounts was allowed on biggest russian forum and she doesn't want people discuss her pictures there.

I think too that it probably was becaude of these weirdos commenting on her pictures not so nice about her and Maxim and saying she's theirs and stuff.
But I don't realky think that she cares who discusses her pictures and who not. (Or how do you mean that with the forums?)

I just read in another thread (predictions for the next season) that someone believes that M-T/M will win the Worlds next year. And I was just like :scratch:
But seriously there are not that many competitors for V/T next season except fot S/K (and they'll probablybe still behind)

Yes, he had his twitter hacked, and now is trying to solve this problem... He wrote that he had changed the password, but it didn't help. As far as I understood, someone had been posting different stuff from his account (now all this is already removed, of course).

Those who hacked Max's account wrote some rude things about Churkin - russian diplomate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitaly_Churkin
So Max wrote he respects Churkin and that he is out of politic at general.
And Max tried to change password and do other things but he still don't know what to do with hacked account.

Arawen They're really the sweetest :love:

I love how Tanya tries to cheer him up at the GPF 2012 'cause he really beat himself up because of the mistakes(probably one of the worst performances they had) At the victory ceremony you can see thst he doesn't really enjiy winning with such a performance and when he caresses Tanya there I almost looks like he apologizes for the mistakes :love:

Tania and Stas - simply heartbreaking!
Maria and Max - good but didn't impress me in the same way. It is one of the very few times I have seen her express any emotion. All my impressions of her are usually of a pouting wax face.
What I like about the choreography of Max and Tania is that every millisecond is filled with some different motion or at least they make it appear so by constantly moving different parts of their bodies - arms and heads mostly, so that gives the impression of the program being rich of elements, even if it is not. Max and Maria's especially don't have that feature. Also Tania was more subdued in her expressions when skating with Stas. She did say that she learned to be more emotional from Maxim.
