Why should takeoff matter, since the woman is being hoisted in the air by her partner? Unless the takeoff orientation and edge changes the difficulty of the throw, but again, I'm finding it hard to understand how that is so, if height, distance and air position are pretty much determined by the throw. :think:
I'm such as pairs ignoramus.
I know, right?! It was horrible coverage! After show 10 skates in one night from the team competition, I was expecting to see a lot more pairs last night.

DM/G were a bit rough. Still, he has definitely improved over the past couple of years. I would love to see more leg extension from him, though. And he scares me in the lifts a bit....
NOS.nl as always provides (geo-blocked) streams, HD quality, with the option to stream to television screens etc., but no commentary. They're probably too busy talking about all the medals Holland is winning in the speed skating. Meh. I don't mind speed skating, but would gladly trade all those medals for one figure skating medal. Heck, one figure skater even participating at the Olys would do! ;-/
