I like this thread because if I pick Yulia no one can say I'm crazy.

If it were post well and deliver I'd say Mathman.

I'd go with Michelle Kwan. or Plushenko, healthy or unhealthy. I'd maybe throw in Timothy Goebel too. Assuming we can choose from past skaters as well that is.

Russian roulette : Abbot, only one empty chamber in the cylinder.

It is interesting, most of skaters you pick up are women, except for Plushenko.

Yu-na Kim all the way. I was also thinking of including Julia, but she hasn't gone through her second growth spurt yet, so I'll save that for later.

Yuna Kim. The lady has nerves of titanium & tungsten combined. It's a mystery to me how flawlessly she was able to perform in the biggest stage of her entire life. Makes you wonder what this lady is made up of... (See Chan or Yuzuru for your usual Olympics performance)

For people picking Yuna, aren't you afraid she might pop a jump in her long program, like she has done most of the time?

Irina Rodnina. With two partners, she delivered:

10 WC Gold
11 Euro Gold

I'd say she was pretty reliable.

Edit: And had a baby during her spare time.

Right now, Julia Lipnitskaya.
In their prime, maybe Yagudin, Plushenko or Irina Rodnina?
Mao when she was 15 was very reliable as well.
Michelle Kwan was reliable, except she did choke at Olympics so as long as I could get the sense that she actually didn't really care about whether I died or not, I would choose Michelle in her prime years.
