I was always much more interested in FS competitions than exhibitions,
The last time i remember tuning in for the televised Galas is somewhere around the 2002 Olympics,
And when going to competition i usually fly out at the Gala day.
I remember as a kid watching amateurs and Professionals do interesting bits, with elements that weren't allowed in competition,
When interesting stuff pop out it usually reaches me too, Like Fernandez's one of last season, Or when Hanyu landed the 4t-3a-3a sequence, But i was wondering:
What were the more interesting exhibition programs in the skating world, What are some of the best moves that are exciting to crowds but worthless in competition, And what were the best used props ?
Best used props goes to Plushenko's muscle suit and gold bikini in Sex Bomb.
Absolutely. There is only ever one correct answer to "best exhibition".

@3:15 The double heel click to 2axel(maybe 3a..its raining and hard to tell on my phone)to open the umbrella pretty much sums it up!
For me pechalat and bourzat always have some very original and entertaing gala programs.
I really enjoyed their George of the jungle program a few years ago! And it had a very nice prop too: the plastic crocodile :-)
Besides, I also always love mao's exhibitions, especially her olympics one with the fan and her jupiter from 2011. It was simply amazing.
Gotta Have Music
Plushy's "Sex Bomb"
Viktor Petrenko's "Mambo #5" (although he did this as a pro, right?) - very entertaining, though
No props, but this was magical. Lambiel's "Ne me quitte pas"
Akiko Suzuki's Love Dance is so special.
Michelle Kwan's Ex at the 2000 Worlds is always lovely.
Tessa & Scott's "I want To Hold Your Hand" is amazing too.
I agree, magical. Same program for the Ice Age Cup Of Professionals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9snEtUHJZ0

Also I really like Yulia's 2014 Je T'aime
2012 Je T'aime was really good especially at the JGPF http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKKgZvEiyp4
And at 2012 Nationals http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UCh_JFfcZ_o
In 2013, I didn't like it as much because of trouble she was having, but it was still pretty good.
I don't really remember any other exhibitions that stand out (Because I don't actually watch that many). Oh, Tessa and Scott at the 2010 Olympics and Moore-Towers and Moscovitch at the 2014 Olympics.
What did you thinks of MT/M's A Skater's Waltz?
Thank God for Stephane Lambiel and Matt Savoie!
I still think that's some of the most beautiful skating I've ever seen...

This year, ,my favourite exhibition is Radionova's Zombie Dance. She's truly a rock star.
Anytime Joe Subobkec(sorry about the spelling!) does a (on purpose) single axle! I could watch that allllll day!
your favorite exhibition/gala programs?
this one is my all time favorite, P/B skating to Stromae songs 'tous les memes/formidable': the music, the dancing, simply adorable! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7b3Bh2JzKgw
Wasn't Yuna once performing to Dark Waltz by Hayley Westenra, or is it just my fantasy?
Keeper of the Kweens OGM.
I love Lu Chen'a exhibition form 95 Worlds. I can't remember the name of the song but she skated beautifully.
