    The skating was beautiful but that music was HORRIBLE. Sounded like a funeral dirge or someone being held captive in a basement moaning.

    OK, having just finally seen most of the coverage of this year's Oly. Gala, (yes, I'm a bit behind . . .), I'm going to nominate Pang and Tong's program to "I Dreamed a Dream". I've never been a huge fan of theirs, but, oh, my goodness! Talk about 2 skating as 1! In the beginning, I thought I must be watching Ice Dancing, they were so precise and together, with intricate steps. But beyond that, the passion, the love just oozing out of every move and look---Wow!

    Sasha Cohen - Stars on Ice 2008. Doll that comes to life. She actually doesn't even put on her skates! STUNNING.

    Definitely Johnny Weir's collaboration with Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov - fantastic. As well as the Plushy programs that were mentioned.

    Yes! That was stunning! We saw that exhibition program live @ the Marshalls Spring Exhibition (it wasn't a competition that year), in Reading, PA. It was the last Spring event hosted by ABC. It was so well received that the trio (or was it a duo with Melissa & Denis?) got to skate it a few times in the COI tour.

    Same idea. The music sounds like a mass. Kinda scary
