The Today show is hosting Muppets this morning to remind people that Sesame Street has been on tv, here and around the world since 1969. My youngest brother grew up singing "Rubber Duckie" and so did my own kids. Now my not-yet-born grandson will be greeted by a big red Elmo when he finally makes his grand entrance to the world!

Happy Birthday, Sesame Street!!!! (and many more!)

Happy Birthday to Everyone from/at Sesame Street!!!
I have been doing childcare in my home for the past 21 years and I'd always put Sesame Street on for the kids....I miss the PBS shows....the little girl I care for now has graduated to Nickolodean shows!

Happy 35th Birthday Sesame Street! I watched it when I was a kid in the 70's, then my sister and I watched The Muppet Show when were older (about teenagers),and then her kids liked Elmo!

I love Sesame Street and the muppet show. Jim Henson was a creative genius. Happy birthday!
