There are 7 hours until the start...I wonder if I will be able to get up at 4 o'clock. Anyway my favourites come later in group 3 and 4. I also want to see Kevin, whose under rotated jumps sent him in group 2. He generally has a bad short. I have no idea how on earth he is able to fully rotate the jumps in the long program, but not in the short. Let's see what happens!
Vamos Javier! Mucha suerte!

My friend in Japan said Hanyu was injured, his back and his leg. He skipped practice. :bang: why why why must you insist on worlds this year?

What?! When did Hanyu get injured?

I'm sitting this one out live. My heart can't take it.

Not again:no: Ok, I don't care about the medal anymore. I hope the kid is fine. I was very optimistic about today's performance, but now I don't know what to say.
(I'm listening to R&J music right now..and after Lambiel retired I said I would never be an obsessed fan again:rolleye:)

The kid is always too harsh on himself. What's the problem with the working ethnic, please give yourself credit sometimes. Now that he is injured, I would rather Orser and Japan fed pull him out of the free skate. He is still young, he will have more chance, he shouldn't harm himself that way. :bang:

I agree. We know from Plushenko what it means to push your limits too much. (ok, different story, last competition..but still)
Anyway, I think he wanted very much to come to the worlds. No working ethic, just the fact that he wanted to prove he deserves the OGM (imo nothing to prove). +world at home

I agree. It would be best if he did a soloviev.

My friend said Hanyu was injured before the SP, he fell quite hard in practice the night before. :bang: Damn it, please, please, someone should force him to withdraw!!!

^The reports were saying that he did fall hard before SP but he was back jumping his quads perfectly right after it so he probably didn't get too hurt by that. I haven't heard anything solid regarding him being injured so I don't want to freak. If he can still skate, he will regardless of how much pain he's in....remember 2012 worlds? He just took painkillers on an injured ankle. I really wish he'd stop being so hard on himself.

They said he had skipped practice yesterday's night... so I assume it's pretty hard.

Oh no! I hope Yuzu is alright!

And if he is not, I hope he does withdraw. Because we don't want him doing himself any serious damage.

Anyway, I have just posted the adjusted schedule for the Eurosport coverage (along with Ana's livestreams) in the Worlds Coverage thread.

It is too long a message to quote the whole thing here (there were a LOT of changes to be made!), so here is the link:

http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/showthread.php?49245-Worlds-coverage&p=897260&viewfull=1#post897260

And here is a summary:

ESP1 07:00 - 08:00 GMT (08:00 - 09:00 CET) Free Pairs
ESP1 08:00 - 12:15 GMT (09:00 - 13:15 CET) Men's Free LIVE
ESP1 12:15 – 13:30 GMT (13:15 – 14:30 CET) Short Dance
BES1 22:30 – 23:30 GMT Men’s Free
BES1 23:30 – 00:30 GMT Short Dance

Here are the livestreams:

Eurosport 1 International livestream
British Eurosport 1 livestream

May you enjoy your time looking at Ana and her mammaries... ;)

It all kicks off with the Pairs FS repeat in just under 40 minutes from now.

Hope this helps

Oh no! :( I hope if he's injured it isn't something serious. And hopefully he will still be able to turn out a good skate. It would be a shame to not compete when the momentum was his after GPF/Sochi.

If Yuzu is really injured I doubt Brian would let him go on. Or anyone in his team tbh. I hope he doesn't feel like he has to be perfect and perform regardless, he isn't a machine and he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone :(

Here is the updated summary:

ESP1 07:30 - 08:00 GMT (08:30 - 09:00 CET) Free Pairs
ESP1 08:00 - 12:15 GMT (09:00 - 13:15 CET) Men's Free LIVE

Why does anybody bother looking up Eurosport's schedules and trying to make plans accordingly?!

Looks like YesWay's reply when I originally posted the schedules last week was spot on:

I know I don’t normally do this so far in advance because Eurosport are notorious for changing their schedules umpteen times in the week leading up to them showing something.

I'd say they are also notorious for changing the schedules minutes or seconds before a program is due to start, or even while it is already showing ie. basically, making it up as they go along :p

I give up!
