I think is a good test and draw for Gracie
she will have nothing to lose and the big guns will already skate

if Gracie goes clean , she can max a 145 - 150 in her Free skating score and could be enough for her to win the gold medal if other falter
given the scoring has been generous in the SP, will be close with Gracie and Mao for that gold medal

    go Gracie !!!
get that gold medal and good luck

The time zone converter I use indicates 3/29/2014 17:15 Japan time = 04:15 AM Eastern. Set the alarm & prime the coffee pot!

I actually think going last could be good for Gracie. She needs a bit of luck to move up, but if she delivers going last, then she could certainly move up. She also skated last at US Nationals.

However, if Kostner, Mao, Akiko and/or Yulia all deliver, the podium will be locked up before Gracie skates.

If Mao or Carolina goes clean, isn't it some kind of new personal record, respectively? I hope the new history is written!

I'm so ready for the tragic and beautiful at the same time red-dressed spectacle on the ice. Go go go Yulia!

I think I may sleep in and miss the first 2 groupings or so. So 6 am should be a good time to get in on the action?
