Why is Victoria Bezrukova so low? She was second (less than a half point away from first place) in the nationals a week or two ago, so I would have thought that she would place better than 14th here. Did she make some mistakes? A week or two ago she scored 64.37 and now only 47.45. She did not have any falls.

Mistake.
Singled triple in first jump of combo.

:cry::cry::cry:

Alex, do you know by any chance why Yushenko had such a bad competition a week ago at Gardena Spring Trophy? She was quite strong at her JGP event, scoring 159.86. In fact, from all competitions in this season (both Russian and international) she has never scored less than 141.48. Scoring 113.63 last week is extremely bad result for her! Is she injured? If she is in such a bad form, she should rather not compete at all, or the Federation may decide not to give her any JGP events next season!

Goncharenko really cannot teach a good axel technique :disagree:
look at Radionovas !!!

Have you considered that it may be the skater and not the coach who can't do the technique? Nothing wrong with Proklova's axel.

Proklova is still small

Radionova has bad 2A hop with no flow at all, even Julia's is better
and she destroyed Samarin with his 3A downfall

In parenthesises - most known skater of coach.

Polina Drynkina - coach Anna Tsareva (Anna Pogorilaya)
Anastasia Kolomiets - Marina Teterina
Diana Pervushkina - Marina Baranova
Alisa Fedichkina - Irina Deminova
Viktoria Bezrukova and Alsu Kajumova - Inna Goncharenko (Elena Radionova)

Yes, Kolomiets may get JGP, she has good results of this season. It depends on her state at the beginning of season 2014/2015? and on state of other pretenders. I don't think that she is very interesting - not so good skating skills and choreo.

Most Russian coach's can't teach axel technique well other than Mishin and Volchkova. Look at Tutberidze's students such as Julia and Medvedeva, neither have great 2A technique. You need to stop picking on Goncharenko because her students are a threat to your favourites.
