The Korean Ferry Disaster

And now it is reported that the sister ship has been seized and ITS life raft containers wont open either? And seized documents of "Paper" instead of real safety inspections? Cargo overloading? Faulty steering...? Is this a private company that operates these deathtraps or is it a government entity? I had heard rumors of govt scandal on a large scale (comparatively) in Korea before being blown off,,,now I have to wonder if even their airliners, buses or trains are safe. As corrupt as the US Govt is, I am not afraid of the transportation system here. The world is full of Costa Concordia captains, it seems....that is hard to change....but life raft containers that wont open are easy to fix. This disaster is so sad and didn't need to happen in this day and age.
