easy, it is normal that some will be dissapointed and some excited

I am excited because I love this music and judging by videos looks like Yuzuru also love it, and it can be amazing program on all grounds - technically and artistically.

But it could went other way that he would choose music that others would be excited and I could been dissapointed

good for me this time :biggrin:

And I love beginning of the program already with that moves, you can already see by that it is done by diffrent choreographer. I am finding Shae-Lynn very fiery, and you can see that already. Moves are more natural, powerfull, from inside.

I'm reserving my opinion until I see the whole thing, but it's natural for baseless speculation to start, since that's what we do in the off-season, no? :laugh:

I am however, happy for the fact that he seems to like the song and I think that makes hime able to "sell" and connect to the program better. I admit I also feed off the energy skaters give off when they actually enjoy the music. I could never quite enjoy Notre Dame LP because there was such a detachment to it.

I think POTO is very well known in Japan too and fans are generally quite excited about this news. I think Akiko said that Kanako wanted to skate to POTO after seeing her skate to it last season. Who knows if the Japanese media will make something out of them skating to the same piece of music...hopefully not! (I love Kanako, but she obviously wants someone funnier than Hanyu :laugh:

)

From this clip I also know that the begining of the program will be the same as Patrick and Phanthom of the opera main theme will begin after the second quad. Just for fun, anyone with good ears want to try guess which part he will use on the third quad in the second half? I try but can't hear.

Why doesn't he just replace the 3F with the 3Lz since he's doing it in combination with the salchow at the end. Reason being is that he always has that edge call which is supposed to be stricter this time around. Plus, the Lutz is worth a little more than the flip....

And my comment became irrelevant now that he's doing a 3A-1Lo-3S... which still begs the question on why he could just replace the flip with the lutz

He can't. He is already repeating two the same quads, and two 3A. And I think he will be doing two 3A combos, I think he can do that. And then he will do lutz on its own and will do 3A-2T/or 3T and 3A-1lo-3S. So I think it will be 4T3T, 3A2T, 3A-1lo-3sal

I think it is not decided yet since he was doing diffrent combos but I think it can look like:

It's definitly Music of the night. Quite logical choice, if he's going to be the Phantom. Can't make out the singer though.

And lbc2138, Yuzu can't go for a 2nd 3Lz, since he's already repeating the 4T and the 3A.

Can somebody with better eyes than me tell me what combination he does in the last video at 1:37? 4T-tano 2T? The 2nd jump looks pretty fast, I'd nearly think it's a 3T

Thanks for the explanation! Still learning on what's allowed and what isn't in terms of jumping sequences...

And yes, that looks like a tano 2T.. I don't think I've seen him do the tano 3T yet

Thanks for the explanation! Personally, I would like it if he did the 3A-1lo-3S combo since he usually has a great running edge with his 3A more so than with his 3Lz since he tends to lean forward on the landings for those.
