Wow, the final Star Ice Show at Osaka reproduced the same stage in DOI 2012!

With PW today, Yuzu had worse performance as unexpected. He felled down on 4T & 3A despite of clean in 3Lz+3T. The finale 2 4lo were all miss – one becoming 1lo, another one fall.

How did he react such embarrassed moment? Kneeling down on the ground to present his apology as he did two years ago.

Hands, exactly.
I assumed there's still some pressure, so to say. But as I said, I know little about pair skating. That is just how I've always pictured the hand-to-hand lift.

Yes, he is only touching his hands.

If he were touching something else it will be very unconfortable for a girl too :biggrin:

I'm not saying about *cough* touching, my point was it's hard to transfer all of your weight to hands and have a flying body position so there's no pressure at all involved. Girls are another matter since...nevermind, my face is deep red now, I'm embarrassed and sorry. :laugh:

^ I also know less than nothing about lifting techniques, but regarding the 'pressure' I'd intuitively be more worried about internal organs (pretty sure us girls have those, too...)

why yes, maybe, but there are still organs somewhere around the pelvic region, aren't there? and since you seemed specifically worried about ouchy organs and he is... you know what, you were right: never mind :laugh:

I'd need a lection in figure skating lifts and a biology textbook to figure this one out

Oh, the things that I read here and the stuff people worry about. At some point it was if he's too skinny or not, then it was what his poor mind will go through if he reads the dirty fanfiction, and now people are worried about his... eh-hm. And if it's squeezed or not. Not that I'm saying anything, but it's sort of amusing how things progress. Since we got this far, makes me wonder what will be next. At least we have variety of topics.

Meh, it wasn't a comment with a view to turning the conversation into something awkward. Not at all. Perhaps, the context seemed weird. Actually I wondered about the technique of an element and wished that someone would explain it to me. Learning new things is a part of what forums are about.

I think "Blue Fame" will have a sequel, maybe when, hopefully later than sooner, Yuzuru closes his competitive career.
