Well Machida does have acne so he does to cover it up.

I now Meryl Davis does Charlie´s make. The camara always look to capture them doing so and I think is cute.

Charlie White has make-up on his face? why I have never noticed that? I mean, look at his face in Kiss and Cry, I always thought he had no make-up! Really? I am surprised!

Sandhu's eyes were frequently beautifully made up. Of course, he came from a balletic background. That being said, I don't think most male skaters wear make-up. Why should they? Do male gymnast wear make-up when they do their floor exercise? Although the females wear make-up, their hair often looks like an afterthought and some could use help in that department.

It was in a interview for the icenetwork that they talked about it. Meryl saids that Charlie always asking if he should were make up, and she tell her yes and then do it. She said that he has told Charlie he should learn to made his own make up so that the camara don´t catch doing so but Charlie said he was scared too learn how to apply make up-

Men in showbiz have been using make up on and off stage for a long time. For sport world or sometime stage-performances, waterproof cosmetic is a must. How do you think synchronized swimmers keep their pretty appearances? If men skaters could put themselves in skater costumes, make up is just a breeze. Korean men in general have no problem with it. http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/lifestyl...metics-crazed/

very useful tips (not just for athletes but also for workout too) : http://www.examiner.com/article/the-...rkout-meltdown

Some of them definitely don't want to get caught wearing make-up no matter how great the products are. Just different preference like everything in life.

Thank you. I am curious about this stuff because normally it very easy for us to point out if a person we meet wears make up or not. Through images and camera, it's harder. Ladies wear obvious make up so there is nothing to debate here. But for men, it's really hard to say. If their make-up is so visible even through camera, that means they must have wear heavy make up. Other than that, it's almost impossible to tell if they wear it subtle or no make up at all.
I mean, look at Charlie White, I am sock to know that Meryl makes up for him. She must have been really good, for I couldn't see the powder layer on his face.

Huffpost chose the wrong photos to illustrate this story. Osmond, Virtue & Gold all have makeup on in their "barefaced" shots - just a lot less.

Thanks for sharing the gallery, Icey!!!
I would think for men, powder to cut shine would the norm. And if your eyelashes are blond, a little waterproof mascara. But guyliner annoys the heck out of me!
