Oh, apropos new programs. The rumour of a new LP for Brian turned out to be correct - and it was Aranjuez, which he skated at NRW Trophy.

Brian did very well in his lp I thought. It is a different approach but it doesn't use his personality which I think is a mistake as this didn't have the flow of Chan and he telegraphs his jumps a bit too much. I am not sure this is the ro ute to go with so little time to up the showmanship but we'll see. I know he wants a medal after being the Kurt Browning in the past - sometimes it wasn't meant to be I guess. He will have to get past Dai, Hanyu, Machida, Chan, Fernandez and Ten and get past his countryman Amodio not to mention Yan and hold off the two Czech boys, the two Amercans and maybe Reynolds.

Well, he need only beat a few of those, and he'll be doing better than Vancouver. :)

And he lost to Aleaxander Majorov at NRW Trophy this month...
