And it seems that Plushy has a new SP:

No word on what it is, or anything else that I've seen. We'll find out next week, I suppose...

Meanwhile, for those who haven't seen Brian's new FP, here it is from French Nationals:

Brian did very well in his lp I thought. It is a different approach but it doesn't use his personality which I think is a mistake as this didn't have the flow of Chan and he telegraphs his jumps a bit too much. I am not sure this is the ro ute to go with so little time to up the showmanship but we'll see. I know he wants a medal after being the Kurt Browning in the past - sometimes it wasn't meant to be I guess. He will have to get past Dai, Hanyu, Machida, Chan, Fernandez and Ten and get past his countryman Amodio not to mention Yan and hold off the two Czech boys, the two Amercans and maybe Reynolds.

Well, he need only beat a few of those, and he'll be doing better than Vancouver.

Caro used her Sheherazade in EX some days ago, and I have to say that it looks REALLY a lot better in terms of interpretation, refinement, details in the choreography, I think that she understands the program itself a lot more now... Will she keep it?

Gee, I think that's a beautiful Sheherezade choreography and I think she has the sinuousness to carry it off ( Not everyone who attempts it does. ).. I hope she keeps it.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate thead for it, but Brian discusses his programs here:

Maia and Alex Shibutani have made changes to the music in their Michael Jackson Free dance. As announced during their US Nationals Conference Call, they have switched out the instrumental arrangement of "Ben" and replaced it with "Man in the Mirror"

I had completely forgotten Yasmin Siraj. She probably won't be in top 4 at nationals but I like her SP this season. She seems to be really multi-talented, as you can see from here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1VqOU6z10Cw She also got into Harvard med school this year!

True but there are so many bigger more established fish than Majorov - you don't want the boy to think it is impossible.

Actually, Yasmin Siraj will be a freshman at Harvard College this fall, not Harvard Medical School. It's still quite the accomplishment.

Kanako Murakami changed her SP program before Japan nationals.
Her current program is "Violin Muse", which she skated 2011-12 season
