Question Pain in the ball of the foot

Lately I've been having issues with pain in the ball of my foot, especially when practicing things that require turnout like spread eagles, as well as double jump landings. It hurts to touch the area quite a bit, but it is fine when I'm standing with my feet facing front with my skates off. When I lace up my skates the pain starts off as a minor annoyance and by the end of a practice session I'm avoiding that foot. I have been skating more often than usual lately. The pain is centered around the area closer to my big toe and has been going on for 2+weeks . Any ideas on what this May be? If it doesn't go away, I'll go to a doctor after my next show (Can't miss it)

    Or a plantar wart forming.

In any case, you might want to see a podiatrist.
