Very cool news! It's a little far for me, but Glasgow is a wonderful city to visit. So many things to do and the friendliest people. I think they'd put on a great event!

Excellent! Now we have Glasgow, Sochi, Stockholm and Helsinki. Nice to see other countries besides the usual host nations / cities taking an interest in this event. Makes me hopeful about the future of the sport.

Perhaps Barcelona can try for 2018 once they see how 2014 GPF pans out?

Does anyone know when the host city will be officially announced?

This is great news indeed. Finally a city relatively easy for me to get to without it having to cost a fortune I hope they get it!

Stockholm will hold 2015 European Championships, so I don't think they'll get the Worlds too.

You never know. Sweden is renowned in the community for being great organisers. Last time a championship was held in Sweden they made a huge profit.

This would be fabulous! Gymnastics worlds are in Glasgow in 2015 so I'll hopefully be making the short trip over both times

That would be soo awesome, finally a World championship that's not too far away and cheap to travel to, I'm all for it. It almost sounds too good to be true.

    In what way?

You mean compared to holding it in London or Edinburgh?
