So there were 7 teams at Canadians last year:

1 Meagan Duhamel / Eric Radford QC 213.62 75.80 137.82
2 Kirsten Moore-Towers / Dylan Moscovitch WO 209.44 74.96 134.48
3 Paige Lawrence / Rudi Swiegers SK 176.31 61.67 114.64
4 Natasha Purich / Mervin Tran QC 170.40 60.04 110.36
5 Margaret Purdy / Michael Marinaro WO 147.35 54.23 93.12
6 Shalena Rau / Rob Schultz WO 146.44 48.63 97.81
7 Brittany Jones / Joshua Reagan WO 144.98 52.47 92.51

Teams 2,3, 4, 5 have broken up. It will be interesting to see how many pairs will show up in 2015.

Apparently Purich is going with Rob Schultz so that would mean #6 is also no more

edit: apparently Purich is with Drew Wolfe but Rau/Scultz are apparently no more anyway
wish we'd get some confirmation rather than rumours

and worst, their worst pair is the only one left
MT/M should have stayed 4 more years instead of D/R

D&R are actually Canada's highest-ranked pair, as you probably know. ;)

Now if you mean that stylistically they are awkward together, there are people that agree with that. Duhamel has a more aggressive, athletic style on the ice, and Radford is more artistic and lyrical. They also have a huge height difference, which while good for lifts, can sometimes make them a little too far apart, I suppose.

Ugh, what a nightmare situation for the state of pairs in Canada.
