It's probably a good thing for the WISA coaches that two of their Junior teams are currently too young for international competition (Sletten/Verburg and the Beckers) or there would be a possibility of them being away from the rink incredibly often

I've already signed up for the live streaming and am looking forward to watching Hawayek/Baker at this event.

I expect to see both McNamara & Carpenter and the Parsons ahead of Edwards and Pang here. Thus improving their chances as medal hopes for Jr Worlds by beating the Jr World Bronze medalists.

Except that Edwards/Pang apparently changed their minds and are not competing at Lake Placid.

Yesterday Aaron Lowe tweeted a series of photos of his four couples who are at Lake Placid. No Edwards/Pang.
https://twitter.com/winglowe23/status/494218696307769345 (Jul 29 group shot of all four couples)

Per the recent GS article re Edwards/Pang, the competitions on their calendar are BC SummerSkate and JGP Courchevel.

Wow, a bit surprising to see Hawayek and Baker's FD score. Does anyone know the music they're skating to for both programs?

Whoa, Beckers did pretty awesome!

Also, Lorraine McNamara's SD dress, um...

http://photography.ice-dance.com/2014-15/14LPIDC/Jr/SDC/14LPIDC-JrSDC-6523-MC-DB.jpg

McNamara and Carpenter's SD is to African music, not a samba, so that explains the dress. I thought it was a little odd, because McNamara/Carpenter skate to POTO for their FD and the Parsons skate to Notre Dame De Paris. I don't understand why the WISA coaches are choosing music that has been used by Davis/White before. Running out of ideas perhaps?

It's a Romeo and Juliet FD to the 2013 (2012, maybe? the newest one!) film's score. Same composer their team used for Paul/Islam's free dance last season. Not a very interesting choice but oh well.

Thank you. Oh how disappointing. They did the romance thing so well with the Amelie performance. I was hoping they would switch it up this year to something different, perhaps Latin. They obviously--particularly him--have a strong traditional ballroom technique that I thought this would be a good year for stretching their range.

You're right--not a very interesting choice. And I have such high hopes for them! Grrrr.
