I have just been to the ice rink, its huge! They have so many seats there and I am afraid when the event will happen hardly any will be used :(

Of course nobody else from the press there yet but hey it wont start before tomorrow anyways and then its just the practice.

So ya, not much more to say right now - actually except that its huge! Thanks for the other infos to the other Alex, Doris and Co. I still need to do some homework about some skaters and these information help a lot. I still want to say that I can highly recommend Aleksandra Golovkina from Latvia she always has great programs.

Is there a specific skater you like who will start at Dresden?

    McNamara & Carpenter!

    Seguin & Bilodeau

    and Krzysztof GALA POL .
I had thought he had retired. He did quite well at his last JGP.

scoring a PB in the S P and for total score.

It should be, but it wont start before tomorrow 11 CET I think. (5 AM Eastern / 18 Japan standard)

I am sitting at the ice rink but so far I don't have any access to any information as nobody else is here yet and I don't want to bother the ISU office with it, they are busy enough already

https://www.youtube.com/ISUJuniorGrandPrix will be live streaming starting Thursday -- same channel as previous JGPs.

    As indicated at:

    A few first impressions.

I got lost several times this place here is like a labyrinth! Besides that its not that crowded as expected, you can buy food and drinks here, seating is based on a first come and its pretty cold so far!

I have a hot candidate for the "smile award", she fell at every jump but was kind of cute while doing so. I was impressed with the Japanese and the Korean girls (Mariko Kihara (3t-3t) / Kyueun Kim -> great interpretation and style, Wakaba Higuchi --> 3 Lutz & Toe, 2axel & 3 toe ), also great stuff by Leah Keiser a very mature girl.
Elizaveta Iushenko triple toe comb and triple Lutz, great spins, love her attitude on the ice. She was at the NRW last year, great girl.

The Russian pairs were great as well but also Julianne Seguin and Charlie Bilodeau (3tw, loop throw and nice lifts).

I wonder if Proklova took part in the practice. Based on what I read in the fan thread she may have not recovered yet.

She did, she was in the first group at the MR this afternoon. She was moving fine on the ice, I didn't see anything odd.

Info from her own page 5 days ago: - Как твоя ножка? - Получше. -How is your leg? - Somewhat better.

    Did not sound very promising.

This morning she didn't do much jumping wise but the other Russian skater elizaveta is a joy to watch.

    Hmm event already over :(

Will wrap it all up now into a summary and then post it, most likely tomorrow. Until then I would recommend checking the thread of Doris, she has all the results listed + video footage.
