There was a previous thread on this topic here:

    http://www.goldenskate.com/forum/sho...preview-thread

    From that thread:

Alexa Scimeca & Chris Knierim: Wizard of Oz free skate (some people thought this could be a joke though)
Joshua Farris: retaining the Schlinder's list free skate
Lukas Kaugars: Frank Sinatra short program
Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier: Unchained Melody for the short and Lion King for the freeskate

I'm actually excited to see this one! And I don't even consider B/S anywhere near one of my preferred skaters, but this sounds right up their alley.

According to Javi's thread, the music for his SP is Black Betty by Ram Jam after all and might even be an EX.

His pronunciation is very confusing, it could be Blackbetty or Blackberry, either way, he clearly said his program weren´t choreographed yet. So either this was a EX program or he was choreographing by himself.

He even said he wasn´t completely sure about using the music (especially the Barber from Seville)

Thanks for posting this! I'm excited about these FS; especially in Fernandez's case. I hope he does choose that music, it should suit him perfectly.

I hope not. I want Yuzuru to try something new for his FS instead of another epic drama program with dying at the end.

I´m thinking Yuzuru FS will be someThing "dancey" since his choreographer this year will be Shae-Lynn Bourne. Short in theory will be Jeffrey Buttle again.

I just hope is not mambo or latin. I´m over it. Actually I´m thinking they may try to "age" him a little, improving his performance.

Too sweet no but I really can't see him with the Gladiator either. Not now at least.
    He's an elegant skater.

Perfect for Javi for his FS!
    As for Elena, which Rachmaninov?
I hope Anna's works out, so many interpretations of that piece as well, S/Z's was fantastic, hope she brings something different to it.

We didn't know initially which Rachmaniov for Elena, but on the 'Russian babies' thread someone posted a video with a clip of her new program and said it's Rach 3. I haven't watched the video yet myself as I just got off work but here it is:

    http://vk.com/id16075772?z=video1607...videos16075772

Regarding Anna P, she recently did an exhibition to the piece, there are at least 2 versions of that on YouTube:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNOfJ8OVbHg
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1_OSpXb-eI

I'm impressed with those skates, Anna is showing more emotion than I have associated with her in the past. Hope that bodes well for her competitive version!
