I'm intrigued that they chose Peter Pan for their second production. It's a bit obscure these days, though a lot of the music is delightful. The one thing they'll have to be careful about is the American Indians--they speak broken English, and one of the lyrics in the original show was something like "ugga-wugga wigwam." I wonder what approach they'll take to those. In such a case, authenticity is not a plus.
I love that performance! I also think that song is so splendid; I used to hum it to myself when riding a plane as the plane was taking off. It's the only song from the Disney cartoon that I'd put with the best music from the stage musical in terms of evocative power.
