Top skaters of this Event
1. Maria SOTSKOVA RUS - probably pretends to gold.
2-4. Miyu NAKASHIO JPN, Rin NITAYA JPN, Amber GLENN USA - probably pretend to medals.
5. Alsu KAIUMOVA RUS - if skates good, may earn medal, if not - may be lower than 5th place.

Russia, Japan, USA - others have chance to be higher than any of them only because of their mistakes.

It is not a prediction - only analysis.

All girls, who may pretend to top-10, are well-known. Their state is also known - all competed at this season.
No problem to analyse probable results.

Hope you are right having put Maria as the only contender for gold. The key thing is not to sglazit' - god knows how this translates into English. Just let's keep fingers crossed (those who wish that Maria wins).

I cannot wait to see how Maria performs here. As long as she has fully recovered from her injury, Gold should be hers. But most importantly, she needs to place high enough to qualify for JGPF.

She is not the only contender for gold.
Ice is slippery, ladies are so unpredictable.
But she is most probable contender, on her results of past season and her skating at Open Moscow Junior Championships at early September.

I'm looking forward to seeing Maria's free program especially!
And I wonder if she changes her costume for the SP ?

Link for live stream is seen when live stream is active.
There was good livestream for Men and Pairs (V/Z were very nice, yes) and now Ladies.

Shouldn't it be active? Maria is about to skate!!

That fall from Maria made me cringe bad. That had to have hurt :( I hope she can make a come back in the free but that was a very low score for her.

Maria fell on her first combination. Other than that she did well.
Rin did very well today and she seemed happy with her performance.

I find Maria's dress reminds me of Maid Cafes in Akihabara....:slink: Perhaps she could rethink the open front and the neck ruffles?

Evgenia and Serafima also fell on their combos in SP... She still can win and get in the Final.
