One group done and there's already 1 more deduction than there is skaters. Wonder if all of them were falls.

I just started watching... I dunno, I wish there was some kind of minimal requirements for Juniors so the competition would be more exciting

Anyone know which warm-up group we're watching live at the moment?

Smiling ear to ear for Lea Dastich

Kyueun Kim is really really good at all the in between stuff that makes a program interesting. I loved her program but sheesh...tech failures galore. That's unfortunate because she has a little spark inside.

Proklova and Wakaba are the next two skaters following the Zamboni!

I have a question: Speaking of tech failures, I noticed that she aborted a spin and then tried again. Since I know you're not allowed to do that with jumps (ie Jason in sochi), can you do that with spins? Or does the last spin become discounted?

Was that the illusion spin at center ice? I found that quite odd. If so it is likely that she was just doing one or two as part of her choreography and not as a planned element. Therefore it would be reflected in that score and maybe even other PCS. Not on TES.

Thats sad, isn´t it? Her PCS is almost twice as high as her TES

Oh was that an illusion spin? I had thought she had missed her spin... I guess the protocols will tell. But I know boyang missed a spin in Nagoya so the question still applies- can a skater retry a missed spin? Thanks!

Edit: nvm, I see you answered my question! Thanks! ;)

Did the Zamboni break? It looks like half of the ice is resurfaced and the machine hasn't gone by in a few minutes?

Nevermindz....I'm an idiot. I'm watching on my phone so it just looked half done.

No, Kim aborted that spin, she was trying to enter a camel position. The spin just gets completely nullified if you fail the entry (see: Yuna Kim's layback at 2010 Worlds -- if Boyang Jin did the same thing then his spin was either nullified if he had to completely restart it or the level dropped a lot if he saved it)
