Be Italian. She is suddenly a rock star (he has always been one). SBS 3S ok, high 3Tw, but the catch looked questionable, hand down on throw. Very good overall, confident, passionate and expressive.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. They nailed everything and then some, but as a photographer I hate this program, they are almost never in the same frame. Fantastic presentation, though.

Phantom of the Opera. I am not sure what his jump was, she did a very nice 3T, but he was noticeably out of synch, so it could have been a double. Other than that very impressive Tw, but he nearly jumped after her during throw. Nice, smooth, fluent, quite impressive for the short time they have been together.

Zabijako/Larionov 59.96 (30.08 TES + 29.88 PCS) and into 2nd, according to results page

sounds reasonably ok for a new pair in my (very amateur) opinion

Moonriver. Judging from their international scores I have been expecting much worse (I have never seen them live before). It lacked intensity and expression of top couples and choreo between elements was a bit sketchy, but elements looked nice. SBS 3S, 3Tw, don't remember what they did for throw.

Ave Maria. She doubled 3T, low Tw with poor catch, she saved the throw. Unlike Zabiako/Larionov they do look like a new team, plus they lack expression. There is a potential there, but at the moment, not so good.
