Not sure about the Men. I think it is Jason's year to win but my intuition says Jeremy because of his past
brilliance at Nationals. I will have to think about it for a little longer. I may be back to change my predictions.

This is more my wish list than a prediction. I believe that US Figure Skating needs to ramp it up on the consistency side ... it seems so long since we had a Michelle Kwan (not counting Davis/White) who could actually be competitive for more than one Olympics. So here is how I hope it plays out:

Ladies
1. Gold
2. Edmunds
3. Wagner
4. Hicks
5. Sam

Men
1. Brown
2. Farris (based on past performances, not 2014)
3. Aaron
4. Chen
5. Rippon
6. Abbott ( I love the way he skates, but is he doing damage to the US men? IDK)

Pairs
1. Denny/Frazier
2. Scimeca/Knierim
3. Aaron/Settlage
4. Kayne/O'Shea
5. Castelli/Tran
6. Leng/Schnapir
(5 and 6 could be reversed or even higher)

Dance
1. Chock/Bates
2. Shibutani/Shibutani
3. Hubbel/Donahue
4. Hawayek/Baker
5. Aldridge/Eaton
6. Cannuscio/McManus

I love the way Abbott skates at Nationals, but if you can't deliver on the international scene, it seems pointless. It breaks my heart, it really does, to see Abbott skate brilliantly at Nationals and then atrociously at an International event. And, I am not sure I can bare to watch that again this season. I love Wagner and she has done so much to raise the level of the US ladies, but I am not so sure how well prepared she will be for the next Olympics. I would love to see her with any World's metal this season. I am concerned about the Shibsibs ... they seem underscored to me this year. I wish all of our US skaters well!

^ I am also concerned about the Shibs. I almost put them 3rd and H/D 2nd. Hopefully they will hit all of their levels in their FD and
improve their score at their Nationals.

I am only putting the ladies and men because I don't really watch the ice dance or pairs much.

So, without further ado:

MEN:

1. Abbott
2. Brown
3. Aaron
4. Chen
5. Rippon
6. Dornbush

LADIES:

1. Gold (Go Gracie! I hope that foot is feeling all better and she can skate without being so nervous!)
2. Wagner
3. Cesario
4. Hicks
5. Edmunds
6. Nagasu

I hate putting Mirai down in the 6th spot, but I don't think Nationals are going to be kind to her this year.

I think I am the only Shibs and Nagasu fan in the group. It's ok, I like challenges - just like them! I know...someone is going to say, I'm a fan but..... not BUTS... you have to believe to achieve! I am, however, a huge fan of Hawayek and Baker in dance. There lies the future!

1. Wagner grand prix final bronze medalist!!! So pleased for her
2. Gracie I know she's injured but she was sooo good at NHK
3. Cesario, She's really consistent
4. Hicks,
5. Edmunds, I'd really like her to come higher!
6. Nagasu, Chen or Glenn

If I could pick it would be Shibs in dance, Nagasu in Ladies and Brown in men. Who knows? I loved the winners last time the event was in Greensboro

I agree with you. The thread title is confusing, not consistent with the nest's name like US Championships prediction game.
That's why I didn't put my predictions onto this page.

FYI, CL_fan:

Two entries who qualified for Nats are not listed among the practice groups.
- The dancers Aronow/Brubaker. I don't know why they are not competing. :confused2: I will miss seeing her beauty. :eek:hwell:
- The pair de la Mora/Wilson. Per MFarone's post in another thread: he is injured, according to Sylvia.

A link to the practice groups listings officially was published today on the USFS fan zone site.
(The document itself is dated Jan 14.)

I could be wrong, but I don't expect the start orders to be posted until a day or two before each SP and the SD.
[And no biggie, but BTW, post #12 on Page 1 of this thread was intended to bring the general results link to your attention. Sorry that you missed it there. Saw your comments today in another thread. ;)]
