I hope So Youn can pull herself into the top 7 at the very least.

If So Youn can go clean, she can maybe even make it to the top 3 (considering others make mistakes also). Her free program is very difficult technically.

I'm reading posts that today live streaming was very poor.
Anyone knows if tomorrow more live streams (e.g. from Kazakhstan) will be available/working?

I do not want to wake up in the best night hours and early morning (because it's Sunday :)) ... to see nothing ...

I also hope Gracie will have a good skate here.

Think the skate order favors Gold. This way the judges will know how much to inflate her GOE and PCS so she wins.
Expect Gold and Edmunds to go 1-2 here. The judges seem to like them both. And now that Edmunds is skating well the judges will be more willing to reward her.
Not a bad plan skate badly all year but turn it on when it counts so that the judges want to reward you more they would otherwise.
It seems to also work for Denis Ten!

I hope to see Rika do well again and not get smacked down for not being Japan's No.1. Also, to see great skating in general. The men sure have entertained us, hopefully the ladies do just as well!

Problem is if someone like Satoko hits it out of the park knowing Gracie's mindset it might freak her out and she's not the most mentally strong skater there is. There is a reason most skaters hate being last to skate.

Even if Satoko doesn't do well, Gold could still bomb. Last year she knew Kostner did poorly and could have moved up (although Pogo skating cleanly right before her may not have helped). Gold just needs to focus on herself. She looks to be in good shape, and if she gets her axels in check, she could potentially win. The judges favour her PCS wise, and Miyahara could get nailed for UR jumps, so we'll see...

Yeah, wasn't Gracie last to skate at this past Nationals as well? Ashley blew it out of the water at that competition and if Satoko does too in Seoul, who knows what might happen?

You would think that skating after Ashley's amazing skate at nationals it would somewhat give her confidence.

It's still Gracie's competition to win. She can easily beat the field, even with dreadful music!

Also, Gracie will have to skate mostly clean and present herself like she has not done before. She will have to become super Graceful Gracie to win the PCS scores today. Can't believe the Free Skate is only in 6 hours...
