I just looked at ISU communications 1909 and the judging panel lineup for Worlds Ladies is just like the one for JUNIOR ladies: ALL EUROPEAN JUDGES AGAIN! Selected from:

CZE
DEN
EST
FIN
FRA
GER
GBR
ISR
RUS
SVK
SWE
SUI
UKR

No CHN, JPN, USA, CAN

How was the technical committee allowed to get away with this twice in a row?

How odd. I hope they judge everyone fairly and not be biased towards the European skaters.

For real?? Wow...

In that case don't even bother holding the competition and wasting everyone's time, just fedex the medals to the 3 Russians :rolleye:

If a sweep happens then at least I hope they deserve it.

It's both tech panel and judges. Let's hope the tech panel isn't all euro too. At JW the LADIES TC was CAN but the TSs were both European: CZE/FRA and the Referee was Lakernik (RUS)--he is the head of the ISU technical committee.

And what's the problem? Both Russian girls got e for their lutzes, while Wakaba Higuchi got no call at all for her flip.

I'm ready to call foul if Anna Pogorilaya with a fall beats clean Ashley Wagner, but let's not get worked up before anything has happened.

I love the fact that music selections were added Mrs P!

This will be one exciting competition. I admit it does not feel like Worlds with so few entrants in Pairs and Men, but the Ladies competition got me very excited!
