He did do well at worlds but kolyada must enter the mainstream and do 3/5 layout. If you do 5/3 people say you are lazy and dont train properly.

It was OK to come back with after missing a season. Chebotareva's approach is to give her students programs that they can actually skate, not the ones she/they wish they could skate. It generally works and keeps her students injury-free (Kolyada's leg fracture was pure bad luck - he was doing a twizzle and his blade got caught in a crevice in the ice). Next year they are planning introduce more difficult content, and even more so the year after that.

Just rearranging his current content would be progress. If his next program is 3/5 he has moved forward. 3/5 and two quads or whatever he is planning is good he just needs do be 3/5.

I am sure that Mikhail & his team are working on it and also on his stamina because obviously from his LP at Worlds he skated at his max and to skate more difficult layout he needs to up his off-ice training. His coach mentioned that two specialists joined the team this season - the ice dancer who works on SS and the off-ice coach so things are moving in the right direction.

Meanwhile, Sergei Voronov intends to continue to work with Goncharenko and that he is very grateful to her for helping him in a difficult time:

Adian's coach says that he is still recovering from his back injury & undergoing treatment, and that they cannot wait for time when full training can be resumed:
