It's nice to see that Sarah Hughes has achieved a life of normalcy at Yale. A sweet article
"There are plans for her to do TV commentary at this summer's Athens Olympics, proof that her name still carries marquee wallop."
That's weird. What summer olympic sport would she be able to comment authoritatively on?
Maybe it won't be for a particular sport. Maybe she'll do some of those fluff pieces about the city.
Great article! Thanks. I love the girls' humble attitude:
Another professor, in her computer and law course, had an office filled with swimming memorabilia that prompted Hughes to ask if he swam. Noting that his daughter was the athlete, he inquired in turn, "Do you do any sports?"Nice to hear she is adjusting so well at University."I used to skate a little," she answered, and left it at that.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for such a beautiful article on Sarah Hughes!!!She is so down to earth and such a nice person and I am happy for all of her successes.
I'd love to see her skating again, but if she wants to excel at school, then I am happy for her.
Go Sarah! Follow your dreams girl!!
Thanks for sharing that!
