Nipon TV was here this week in Spokane checking out the arena in order to prepare for their broadcasts during the world team challange. The TV stations and the local paper, the Spokesman Review, are doing some pretty good coverage of the prep for the event. Since I am interested in Marketing, I thought I would start a photobucket album of newspaper articles leading up to and including the event. During the two nats held here, there was some pretty serious newspaper real estate alotted for the event. Today, they gave it a page and a half....here is the album.

After visiting so many cities for skating events, I think Spokane does a pretty good job of getting all the media on board and marketing the events here.....more to come
