On the "edit profile" page I see "Email and Password", "DoB", "Homepage URL", "Instant Messaging" and "Additional Information". Alas, there is no sign of anything mentioning "Custom User Title"
I have also looked in all the other "editing" sections to no avail.
Hopefully there is answer out there somewhere! Thanks again for your time.

Like others, when I go into the appropriate place, there's no option for "custom title" or anything related to that. Can you fix it or help me? I'm over the 100 posts. Thanks!
Hmm. The fact that you have the automatically assigned "Custom Title" as your custom title means that the software has correctly put you in the category of users that should be able to see the "Change Custom Title" box.
When you go to Users CP (Control panel) -> Edit Profile, what does it say right under "Edit E-mail and Password?"
Today it works!
Perhaps I needed to wait a day or so for the change to kick-in?
