Ok the pairs substitutes list right now from the SB list would be:

#16 Wang/Wang CHN (have NHK)
#19 Marchei/Hotarek ITA (have Rostelecom)
#22 Bazarova/Deputat RUS (have Canada)
#23 Vartmaan/Bloomert GER (have China)
#24 Castelli/Tran USA (have France)
---
#28 Grenier/Deschamps CAN
#29 Ryom/Kim PRK
#33 Ziegler/Kiefer AUT (have France)
#34 Pfund/Santillan USA
#35 Calalang/Sidhu USA

It's worth noting the USA does still have a host spot open; if Castelli/Tran don't get a 2nd spot another way they are prime candidates for it BUT Denney and Frazier also have a spot already and might be given the slot by the USA as a second slot, particularly if Castelli/Tran get picked up by someone else, but even if not if they out preform them this summer.

Here are the ladies:
#27 Artemieva, RUS (SC)
#29 SAKHANOVICH, RUS (SA)
#33 Choi, KOR (SC)
#39 Pierce, USA (TEB; eligible for SA host pick)
#40 Sakamoto, JPN (staying Jr.??)
--- next up:
#42 Kim (Na Hyun), KOR
#43 Wang, USA (eligible for SA host pick)
#44 MITROFANOVA, RUS (not sure of status, Jr.??)
#45 Kato, JPN (not sure of status)
#47 Olsson, SWE

Kailani Crane is #58, so her chances of getting a GP from the substitute list is quite unlikely, but she certainly could be chosen somehow, it's happened before

I can do the other later, but it's late here.

Thank you, Mrs. P!! :hap85: Virtual cookies are heading your way (maybe chocolate chocolate chip?)!

And oodles of virtual cookies to you too, Tulosai, thanks! Man, I love so many of those teams, and I really hope they get a spot/another spot. Wouldn't it be great if Ryom/Kim got one?

Why there are two threads - so confusing...
I am glad Gracie got TEB she said she loved France last year. I suspect she is like Sasha who always managed to get Trophee Lalique and was on a mission to visit as many shops & cafes as possible :)

This one is/was for speculations, the other one is where the lists are and the discussion about the lists.

Thanks for clarification. I see there is a difference or rather was, now that the speculations progressed to discussions...:)

You can take #28 GRENIER / DESCHAMPS off the substitute list, as they have split.
