Wow! And she did it with a 3Lz-3T, 2A-3T, and A 3F-2T-2LO. This is Mao's territory level of awesome.

It was clean, it was rotated, it was fast, it was landed on one foot with a nice flow out. It's everything you want your first 3A to be! Congrats Rika. :hap57:

Her 3A reminds me of the first time I saw Mao do 3A. They both seemed to be relaxed. It seems 3As from seniors (Mao and Eliza) require a lot more effort to complete since their bodies have changed.

What a joy to watch! Will she be the next Mao? Like a diamond in the rough...just needing a little polish here and there...

This girl has a strong strong strong mentality. Her skating skills and presentation aren't as polished as Marin Honda's, her jumps are small yet the confidence and speed she got going into that 3A was all she needed.

Mie Hamada is the Eteri Tutberidze of Japan (even better imo). Yamato Tamura is also a good coach (and currently Satoko Miyahara's butler :biggrin:).

What a beautiful 3A! And the rest of her triples were great too :yes: Congrats to Rika for joining the 3A club, I hope she can keep landing them in the future!
