I just learned today while watching the Skate Canada competition coverage that the FS world has lost three great legends:
Ellen Burka - mother and coach of Petra Burka and coach of Toller Cranston

David Dore - Former head of Skate Canada

Francis Dafoe: Pairs partner of Norris Bowden - 4 time Canadian Champions and two times World Champions and Silver Medalist 1956 Olympics
Here is rare footage of the great pair team Dafoe/Bowden

All three of these skaters have made significant contributions to figure skating and will be sadly missed.
