Interesting to have an in depth discussion with Bruno.

Couple of things that really piqued my interest were

- how at their ages as skaters the challenge of new elements and upping the technical level, as with the 3A, is one of the things that really keeps both of them coming to the rink each day...

- how they have a seasonal pattern of doing well in the pre-season local competitions, but usually not so well at their Challenger, whether Autumn Classic or Finlandia this year. But lack of practice time on the full size rink before the morning of the SP at Finlandia, was a factor as they were focused on where there pattern took the on the ice

Editing to add....

- their legacy to the sport, not only in technical advances and performance as Brasseur/Eisler and Salé/ Pelletier were for the, but also in training methods and work ethic

- how they encourage the other pairs in Canada, but also are pushed by them

Another great interview from Ted! I really enjoyed hearing Bruno's thoughts on Meagan and Eric and would love to hear his thoughts on the other skaters he coaches as well. And Bruno is rather charming and quite handsome.
