Medvedeva's Edea Piano

This is more directed at the IceFly/Piano users. We are taught by Edea (Patrick Chan and Max Aaron have videos) not to lace tight at the top 3 hooks so u can fit 3 fingers between your shin and tongue of skate.
Did anyone notice Evgenia Medvedeva's lacing technique and what happened to her boots at 2017 Europeans, WOW she still laces tight like they were her Leather Risport boots with flex notches.

I wonder how many boots she will go through in a year.

Wow, those are tied very tight. They also look pretty worn down with visible buckling when she lands. Maybe that's why they need to be tied more tightly at the top?
