Interesting point, although somewhat political, the Government of the RSA has stated that there are too many whites competing for the country. I would think the Governent would train some of their countrymen in what Europeans have been doing for centuries. They could catch up, I have no doubt.

Thanks for the info RGal.........I found that out the other day. Glad to see that if you helped your team make it into the final, you get a medal as well if they place in the top three...........I can't believe the bad press that Jenny Thompson is getting because the Americans placed second in the last relay. Sure she's 31, but they keep ragging on that fact. She was racing against the world record holder in her leg of the 4 by 100 and kept pace very well. She made the team by earning it in the U.S. swimming trials.........she has 12 medals........give her a break and say something nice, "sport reporters" instead of putting her down....42
